By downloading, installing, or using Firetalk, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Firetalk is a macOS application that provides voice-to-text transcription. You speak into your microphone, and the app transcribes your speech and pastes the text into the active application.
Firetalk offers a free tier with daily transcription limits and paid plans with unlimited transcription. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Firetalk. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You agree not to use Firetalk for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful content, or to attempt to interfere with the service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Firetalk uses AI-powered speech recognition to generate text from your audio. Transcription accuracy may vary depending on audio quality, accents, background noise, and other factors. We do not guarantee that transcriptions will be error-free and are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the output. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any transcribed text before relying on it.
Firetalk and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Firetalk and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your transcribed text belongs to you.
Firetalk is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcription will be 100% accurate.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We may change our pricing with 30 days’ notice — continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use Firetalk ceases immediately. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Firetalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
If you have a dispute with us, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@firetalk.app. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered under established commercial arbitration rules. Arbitration will take place in the jurisdiction where Firetalk is headquartered, and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.
You agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or any other representative proceeding.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Firetalk at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes that affect your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of Firetalk after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
